Who are you?
Marin Home Services Guide was created by retired contractor Patrick Killian who lives in San Rafael. He felt there was a need for a way to find service technicians that was more direct and personal than the big search engines. We want to make it YOUR community guide.
How do we use the guide?
It’s easy to find a good service provider. You can either use the search bar under the images on the home page or you can scroll down and will see all the categories highlighted. You can click on any of the categories to be taken to the list of service providers for that category.
What makes your guide different than the others?
All of the search resources available are run by large corporations who work to commoditize the results that you get with them. Our goal is to grow a local guide that retains our local character and truly services as a benefit to the community. We are working to create ongoing relationships between service providers and the locals who need their services.
Are the categories listed the only services that you are going to provide information about?
No. We will be expanding our service categories as we grow and develop. Please let us know what categories you feel would be important to have represented in our guide.
