I was a bit skeptical going into this process, but after the first draft, then speaking with a team member about ideas, thoughts etc, the final plans are great. I'm excited to see them put into action! I must say I will edit the plant list and there are some they suggested that I'm not 100% sure will work with the lighting / shade etc. But the overall design is great.
Yardzen is worth every penny and then some! They take the real time photos and videos you submit as well as inspiration photos and go above and beyond to create a design you could never conceptualize on your own. I am so thrilled with my design and cannot wait to get started implementing the final product. This company delivers everything they promise and then some! I'm still in the process but cannot wait to update with my final review. You cannot miss with this company, highly recommend!
Yardzen has been a great resource. Easy to use and perfect for busy families as the initial experience just involves taking photos and uploading inspirational photos. The design you receive looks just like my backyard . . . only better! I will post a photo when the work is started and completed. Looking forward to the next process where we meet up with a general contractor in our area.
We just bought a new house and didn't know where to start. The process was very interactive and their software was quite fun to use. The professionals we spoke with were great. We felt like it was a good value and can't wait to get started on our yards. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a professional design and be able to see it visually.
Initially I thought that the Yardzen experience and design was good. When we received our initial design, we made our comments and asked some questions and sent that back to Yardzen. In response, we got very general and broad answers - they claim were from a real person - but I am not sure as they did not actually answer any of the questions we asked. I thought surely the designer would then reply and there would be some collaboration, but there was not. We received the "final" design, none of our questions answered and changes were made that we did not ask for. When do we get to understand what and why? When do we get our questions answered... is this all done by robots? I have a call scheduled, but no confidence that they will address any of the questions we asked on the initial design. And can we revert back to before the changes were made that we hate? Update (after call): We talked to the Yardzen customer experience director and she was definitely helpful. She let us know that our experience is not the norm and that they do indeed have people working there that will answer any questions. She said that the process we experienced got off track and she knew that we were pretty disappointed, and to her credit, she understood there was really no redeeming the design for us. We did move forward with cancelling our project and they refunded us the design fee. I changed my review to 4-stars because they did make things right with the refund and the call.
