Kevin and his team did a great job on our fence project in Terra Linda. They replaced a retaining wall in our back yard and a front-facing fence. The latter required a custom fit to slope and it turned out fantastic. Kevin also helped us with overall design ideas and they did it all for a good price. Highly recommended!
A great job very professional will be using again
I have an elaborate set of stairs connecting a landing and two decks up a hill in my back yard (all redwood). Over time I had let it deteriorate so that the stairs weren't quite connected to the landings anymore, boards were rotted, handrails were wobbling off, and the whole thing was covered in lichen. It felt very unsafe; but it was such an investment, I really didn't want to lose it. Kevin came over, gave me a reasonable bid and a clear contract, set a date, and did the work beautifully. Great communications, no hassles. Now I have this renewed and restored area where we can hang out and enjoy the view. It looks so good, I wish I had taken Before and After pictures. Highly recommended!
Things started well and we received a very informative assessment and quote - but since we've opted to move forward with the work - we're getting the run-around. Full voicemail boxes, dismissive answers to our questions about the contract and install timing. Clearly they are busy - and our project is somewhat small - but the likelihood that I'll consider them for later fencing / decking work is slim to none based on the lack of communication and run-around. If you can't work with us or have bigger jobs - just TELL US - don't avoid us and make us chase you down for an answer. The account is under my husbands name not mine - but he left a VM with Craig on 7/14 and we had worked with Kevin initially. We need to move on to another vendor apparently due to your install board - and it would have been nice to have figured that out last week when we tried to connect with you.
We needed to replace the gate leading into our backyard. We contacted Just Fences, among other Marin contractors, and Kevin from Just Fences returned our call right away. He came out, met with us and designed exactly what we needed. The quote, schedule and design were right in the ballpark. Danny from Just Fences did the job and we are pleased with the result.
